霍納賽克（Jeff Hornacek）是前猶他爵士隊的得分後衛，當年與卡爾馬龍（Karl Malone）搭配控球後衛史托克頓（John Stockton）的鐵三角，堪稱絕配。
不過當霍納賽克來到紐約掌兵符，調教傑克森（Phil Jackson）當家的尼克隊，還沒看出兩人在新球季能否給球隊帶來新氣象，卻先上演教頭藉著媒體放話嗆老闆的戲碼。
「紐約每日新聞報」（New York Daily News）報導，霍納賽克說，尼克球員不喜歡跑三角進攻戰術，因三角進攻只會減緩球隊進攻速度，而且很難掌握得分機會。
傑克森入主尼克後，球隊已經換了4個總教練，現任總教練霍納賽克談到與尼克總裁、也是NBA的傳奇教頭傑克森之間的關係，霍納賽克說，傑克森不會插手他如何帶球隊。
他表示，雖然傑克森會給些建議，不過這感覺很好，就像場外有個教練也在幫忙看著球隊的動態。1051010
